The Mamiya DSX 1000 Was produced and manufactured by Mamiya co in 1975. 

Mamiya introduced the DSX 1000 as a beginner to an intermediate film camera, the camera offers TTL (through the lens) metering, Fully manual controls with a focal plane shutter with speeds from 1\1000 sec to bulb for timed exposures. 

The Mamiya uses both use the SX series of Mamiya 42mm screw lens mount lenses, which have a lens mount lock and a mechanical pin that transmits the f-stop information to the Camera.
