Description

The Bronica ETR camera series is a 6X4.5 compact, but modular medium format camera, that produces 15 6X4.5 exposures on a single roll of 120 film. The Camera was released in 1976 and is Bronica s first camera to feature a leaf shutter system. 

The ETR lens system has a Seiko-manufactured electronic shutter with speeds of 8 seconds to 1 500th of a second. Since it s a leaf shutter-based camera, the flash sync is available at all speeds. The camera features a modular design allowing for interchangeable lenses, and a film backs system that has the ability to use 120 film or polaroid film backs. Changeable holders make the system more flexible compared to the original M645.

The ETRS is an improved version of the ETR. The main improvement is the interchangeable viewfinder system. The newer AE II and III finders are not fully compatible with the older ETR cameras, because there is a new electronic connector pin. 

Bronica ETR AE-II Prism is an automatic prism designed to go with the ETRSi cameras with an ASA range from 25 to 3200. Exposure can be compensated from +2 to +1EV. The prism allows automatic exposure (AE) control while allowing eye-level viewing. It also has full area average metering or spot metering available to the user.
